For the last three years, I’ve lived in Melbourne, a place away from home. I’ve lived as an international student while I completed a master’s degree that may not lead to a stable job.  My body carried the emotions of uncertainty while working for a living in a demanding workspace.

I’ve transitioned with the seasons. It was during this phase of finding myself and my story, I discovered minimalism. As a discrete hoarder and a tidying freak, I started by decluttering objects after reading Marie Kondo’s books.

I delved deeper into the subject of analysing Kondo’s work, decluttering, minimalism, and simple living. This led me to understand the relationship between humans and objects, my obsessions, and the vacuum within me.

Now, I’m exploring more about minimalism, slow living, and sustainability. I’ve discovered that nourishing one’s body is one of the best gifts to oneself. I’m imperfect, frequently lost on known and unknown paths, and stuck figuring out what’s next in my life? These little aspects and obstacles are my building blocks to understanding and embracing unfamiliar paths.

I’m finding purpose in the things I do. And the voice within me won’t rest until I share this journey. I hope my work inspires you to find the things that awaken you.
